Galactic Compass is the fundamental tool of any Earth Wizard, and is part of the Dreamspell game. In this guide you will learn how to use the compass to convert any Gregorian date (between 1754 and 2013) on a date ("the" galactic threshold ") of the new measure of time, Dreamspell Account. To use it you need to know the 20 solar seals and 13 galactic tones. See the synchronometer for this information!
- First, keep in mind that the definition of the year for the Law of Time is different from the idea of the Gregorian year that we normally use. For the Law of Time, the year begins on July 26th (a given Gregorian year) and ends on July 24 (Gregorian year following). Therefore, a Mayan year is two Gregorian half years, half covers from 26 July to 31 December, and the other runs from 1 January to 24 July.
- Using the Galactic Compass, the first step is to find the year "maya" (or more accurately, the Dreamspell Account) for the dates you are looking for. Then, if the date is sought in the first "half" of the year, the Gregorian year is kept as is and finds its equivalent in the back of the Compass. But if the date falls in the middle of January 1 to July 24, the year to be looking at the back of the Compass is the former (we subtract one) to the Gregorian year of the date given.
- Example 1. - If the date is October 12, 1998, the galactic year is equivalent to 1998, or 6 Moon (Red Rhythmic Moon).
- Example 2. - If the date is April 20, 1984, the galactic year is for 1966, which is the year for the given date, and is 4 Mage (Mage White Self-existent).
- Learning to use the Galactic Compass can be easy and fun if you follow carefully the explanations of each of the following exercises. We recommend you study each exercise until you can do without reading the text. At the end you will find more exercises to strengthen your knowledge. Luck!
EXERCISE 1. Determine the threshold Galactic September 30, 2004.
Step 1 CONVERSION OF THE YEAR. - Find the galactic year for 2004. Since the September 30 date is between July 26 and December 31, we look directly into the back of the compass equal to the year 2004, which is "12 Storm", that is, the year of Crystal Storm Blue. "
UNIVERSAL TIMING Step 2. - Put the tone 12 (step 1) of the yellow disc below the universal synchronization date of July 26, labeled 7.26 in the green disk.
Step 3 LOCATION DATE. - In the opposite direction of the clockwise disk seek any green date (month, day) that is close (or coincide) with which we seek. As the date is September 30 (ie, 09.30), 9.24 far green disk is the closest.
Step 4 MATCHING TONE. - We note at the yellow tone that is far below 09.24, this is the tone 7 (a dash and a colon), and then move the white disk to match the tone 7 of the two discs. We and the discs: Disc green: approximate date 09.24, Disco Green: tone 7; Disco yellow: tone 7.
Step 5 LOCATION YEAR SEAL. - From step 1, we know that 2004 is Rain. Then move the following white disk (the seal in order) to match the stamp of Storm with the positions of the previous step. We will now the discs as well: Hard green: approximate date 09.24; disk yellow: tone 7; White Album: Tone 7; white disk of the stamps: Cloudy.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE GALACTIC THRESHOLD. - Now, after the seal of the Storm in the previous step, we move in the opposite direction from clockwise to find the date sought. In the starting position, we have (from the previous steps) that on 24 September (9.24) is 7 Storm (ie, Blue Resonant Storm). As we seek the Sept. 30, then we move seven places in counterclockwise (24-25-26-27-28-29 and 30), to reach 13 Snake (white disk is 13 as two stripes and three points, and below the seal of the Serpent). In conclusion, the threshold Galactic September 30, 2004 is 13 Serpent, or Red Cosmic Serpent.
Exercise 2. Determine the threshold galactic August 15, 1990.
Step 1 CONVERSION OF THE YEAR. - Search for the galactic year 1990. As the date is August 15 from 26 July to 31 December, we look in the back of the compass equal to the year 1990, which is "11 Moon", that is, the year of the Red Spectral Moon ".
UNIVERSAL TIMING Step 2. - Put the tone 11 (step 1) of the yellow disc below the universal synchronization date of July 26, labeled 7.26 in the green disk.
Step 3 LOCATION DATE. - In the opposite direction of the clockwise disk seek any green date (month, day) that is close (or coincide) with which we seek. As the date is August 15 (ie, 8.15), there is a date on the green disc that just agrees with this, which is 08.15 - this means that it is necessary to move the yellow ball.
Step 4 MATCHING TONE. - We note at the yellow tone that is far below 08.15, this is the tone 5 (a line), and then move the white disk to match the tone of the two discs 5. We and the discs: Disc green: approximate date 08.15, Disco Green: tone 5; Disk target: tone 5.
Step 5 LOCATION YEAR SEAL. - From step 1, we know that the year 1990 is Moon. Then move the following white disk (the seal in order) to match the seal of the Moon with the positions of the previous step. We will now the discs as well: Hard green: approximate date 08.15; disk yellow: tone 5, Disk target: tone 5; white disk of the stamps: Moon.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE GALACTIC THRESHOLD. - Now, as in this case the date that we agree with a green disk is not necessary to make any more moves, and then we have the date of August 15, 1990 is a galactic threshold 5 Luna, or Red Overtone Moon.
Exercise 3. Determine the threshold Galactic October 4, 1935.
Step 1 CONVERSION OF THE YEAR. - Search for the galactic year 1935. As the date is Oct. 4 from 26 July to 31 December, we look in the back of the compass equal to the year 1935, which is "8 Magician", that is, the White Galactic Wizard year ".
UNIVERSAL TIMING Step 2. - Put the tone 8 (step 1) of the yellow disc below the universal synchronization date of July 26, labeled 7.26 in the green disk.
Step 3 LOCATION DATE. - In the opposite direction of the clockwise disk seek any green date (month, day) that is close (or coincide) with which we seek. As the date is October 4 (ie, 10.04), 9.24 far green disk is the closest.
Step 4 MATCHING TONE. - We note at the yellow tone that is far below 09.24, this is the tone 3 (three points), and then move the white disk to match the tone 3 in the two disks. We and the discs: Disc green: approximate date 09.24, Disco Green: tone 3; White Album: Tone 3.
Step 5 LOCATION YEAR SEAL. - From step 1, we know that the year 1935 is Magician. Then move the following white disk (the seal in order) to match the seal of the Wizard with the positions of the previous step. We will now the discs as well: Hard green: approximate date 09.24; disk yellow: tone 3, Disk target: tone 3; white disk of the stamps: Magician.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE GALACTIC THRESHOLD. - Now, after the seal of the Wizard of the previous step, we move in the opposite direction from clockwise to find the date sought. In the starting position, we have (from the previous steps) that on 24 September (9.24) is 3 Wizard (ie, White Electric Wizard). As we seek the October 4, then we move eleven places in counterclockwise (24-25-26-27-28-29-30-01-02-03 and 04) to reach 13 seed (in the white disc is the 13 as two lines and three points, and below the seal of the seed). In conclusion, the threshold Galactic October 4, 1935 is 13 seed, or Yellow Cosmic Seed.
Exercise 4. Determine the threshold galactic January 18, 1969.
Step 1 CONVERSION OF THE YEAR. - Find the galactic year for 1969. As the date is January 18 after December 31, we look in the back of the compass the year equivalent to the previous year to 1969, or 1968, which is "Storm 2", ie, the year Blue Lunar Storm. (Note: remember that the galactic year Mayan Gregorian includes two half years, from July 26 a year, and until July 24 next year, being the reference year of the first half).

Step 5 LOCATION YEAR SEAL. - From step 1, we know that the year 1968 (the reference is not the original, 1969) is Storm. Then move the following white disk (the seal in order) to match the stamp of Storm with the positions of the previous step. We will now the discs as well: Hard green: approximate date 01.02; disk yellow: tone 6, white disc: tone 6, white disk of the stamps: Cloudy.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE GALACTIC THRESHOLD. - Now, after the seal of the Storm in the previous step, we move in the opposite direction from clockwise to find the date sought. In the starting position, we have (from the previous steps) the second day of January (01.02) is 6 Storm (ie, Blue Rhythmic Storm). As we are looking for the January 18, then we move 17 places in counterclockwise (02-03-04-05-06-07-08-09-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17 and 18), and have the seal Eagle. Note that in this movement some of the tones of the white disk were empty. As this white disc represents the 13 tones of a wavespell, it is logical that after the tone 13 is the tone 1 (Magnetic), starting a new wave delighted. This is the hallmark of the Hand, so if there is now the tone 1, the Eagle will tone 9. In conclusion, the threshold galactic January 18, 1969 is 9 Eagle, or Eagle Solar Blue.
Exercise 5. Determine the threshold galactic February 17, 1953.
Step 1 CONVERSION OF THE YEAR. - Search for the galactic year 1953. As the date is February 17 after December 31, we look in the back of the compass the year equivalent to the previous year to 1953, or 1952, which is "12 Storm", that is, the year Blue Crystal Storm. (Note: remember that the galactic year Mayan Gregorian includes two half years, from July 26 a year, and until July 24 next year, being the reference year of the first half).
UNIVERSAL TIMING Step 2. - Put the tone 12 (step 1) of the yellow disc below the universal synchronization date of July 26, labeled 7.26 in the green disk.
Step 3 LOCATION DATE. - In the opposite direction of the clockwise disk seek any green date (month, day) that is close (or coincide) with which we seek. As the date is February 17 (ie, 2.17), the date 02.11 green disk is the closest.
Step 4 MATCHING TONE. - Note that in this case, there are empty spaces (no tone) in the yellow disc between the dates of onset (26.7) and the approximate date 11.2 (even this is an empty space, without tone, in the yellow disk). What we do is move the yellow ball, setting the tone 1 (one point) below the first gap we have to move from 07.26 in counterclockwise. The date is above the pitch and 1 is 10.14, which is our new beginning. Now we seek the approximate date, 02.11, and we see the tone underneath has 4 (four points). Match the colors of yellow and white discs, ie, move the white disk to match the tone 4 in the two discs. We and the discs: Disc green: approximate date 02.11, Disco Green: tone 4; Disk target: tone 4.
Step 5 LOCATION YEAR SEAL. - From step 1, we know that the year 1953 is Storm (ie for 1952). Then move the following white disk (the seal in order) to match the stamp of Storm with the positions of the previous step. We will now the discs as well: Hard green: approximate date 02.11; disk yellow: tone 4, Disk target: tone 4; white disk of the stamps: Cloudy.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE GALACTIC THRESHOLD. - Now, after the seal of the Storm in the previous step, we move in the opposite direction from clockwise to find the date sought. In the starting position, we have (from the previous steps) that on 11 February (02.11) is 4 storm (ie, Storm Blue Self). As we are looking for the February 17, then we move 7 places in counterclockwise (11-12-13-14-15-16 and 17), to reach 10 Snake (white disk is on 10 as two streaks, and below the seal of the Serpent). In conclusion, the threshold galactic February 17, 1953 is 10 Serpent, or Snake Red Planet.
