Galactic Compass is the fundamental tool of any Earth Wizard, and is part of the Dreamspell game. In this guide you will learn how to use the compass to convert any Gregorian date (between 1754 and 2013) on a date ("the" galactic threshold ") of the new measure of time, Dreamspell Account. To use it you need to know the 20 solar seals and 13 galactic tones. See the synchronometer to find this information!
- First, keep in mind that the definition of the year for the Law of Time is different from the idea that we typically use the Gregorian year. For the Law of Time, the year begins on July 26th (of a given Gregorian year) and ends on July 24 (Gregorian year following). Therefore, a Mayan year is equivalent to 2 / 2 Gregorian years, half covering July 26 to December 31 and the other covering the period 1 January to 24 July.
- Using the Galactic Compass, the first step is to find the year "maya" (or more accurately, the Dreamspell Account) for the dates you are looking for. Then, if the date is sought in the first "half" of the year, the Gregorian year is retained as is, and finds its equivalent in the back of the Compass. But if the date falls in the middle of January 1 to July 24, the year to be looking at the back of the Compass is the former (one is subtracted) to the Gregorian year from the date given.
- Example 1 .- If the date is October 12, 1998, the galactic year is equivalent to 1998 or 6 Luna (Red Rhythmic Moon).
- Example 2 .- If the date is April 20, 1984, the year is that for galactic 1966 is the year for the given date, and is 4 Magician (Mage White Self-existent).
- Learning to use the Galactic Compass can be easy and fun if you follow carefully the explanations of each of the following exercises. We recommend you study each exercise until you can do without reading the text. At the end you will find more exercises to strengthen your knowledge. Good luck!
EXERCISE 1. Determine the threshold Galactic September 30, 2004.
Step 1 CONVERSION OF THE YEAR. - Find the galactic year for 2004. Since the September 30 date is between July 26 and 31 December, looking directly into the back of the compass equal to the year 2004, which is "12 Storm", that is, the year of Crystal Storm Blue ".
Step 2 .- Put the universal synchronization Shade 12 (step 1) below the yellow disc universal synchronization date of July 26, marked as green disk 7.26.
Step 3 DATE LOCATION .- In the opposite direction of the clockwise disk seek any green date (month, day) that is close (or coincide) with which we seek. As the date is September 30 (ie, 09.30), the date 09/24 green disk is the closest.
Step 4 .- TONE EQUALIZATION observed at the yellow tone that is below the 09.24 date, this is the tone 7 (a dash and two dots), and then move the white disk to match the tone of the two 7 discs. We and the discs: Disc green: approximate date 09.24, Disco Green: Tone 7, Disco yellow: Tone 7.
Step 5 YEAR SEAL LOCATION .- From step 1, we know that 2004 is Storm. Then move the next target disk (the seals in order) to match the stamp of Storm with the positions of the previous step. We now records like: Hard Green: 09.24 approximate date; disk Yellow: tone 7, Hard target: tone 7; white disk of the stamps: Storm.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE THRESHOLD GALACTIC .- Now, from the seal of the Storm in the previous step, we move in the opposite direction from clockwise to find the date sought. In the starting position, we have (from the previous steps) on 24 September (9.24) is 7 Storm (ie, Blue Resonant Storm). As we are looking for the September 30, then we move seven places in counterclockwise (24-25-26-27-28-29 and 30), to reach 13 Snake (white disk is 13 as two lines and three points, and below the seal of the Snake). In conclusion, the threshold Galactic September 30, 2004 is 13 Snake or Red Cosmic Serpent.
Exercise 2. Determine the threshold galactic August 15, 1990.
Step 1 CONVERSION OF THE YEAR .- Search for the galactic year 1990. As the August 15 date is between July 26 and December 31, we look in the back of the compass equal to the year 1990, which is "11 Moon", ie, the year of the Red Spectral Moon ".
Step 2 .- Put UNIVERSAL CLOCK 11 tone (from step 1) below the yellow disc universal synchronization date of July 26, marked in green disc 07/26.
Step 3 DATE LOCATION .- In the opposite direction of the clockwise disk seek any green date (month, day) that is close (or coincide) with which we seek. As the date is August 15 (ie, 8.15), there is a date in the green disk that just agrees with this, which is 08.15 - this means that it is necessary to move the yellow ball.
Step 4 .- TONE EQUALIZATION observed at the yellow tone that is below the 08.15 date, this is the tone 5 (a line), and then move the white disk to match the tone of the two discs 5. We thus drives: Hard Green: 08.15 approximate date; Hard Green: shade 5, White Disco: tone 5.
Step 5 YEAR SEAL LOCATION. - From step 1, we know that the year 1990 is Moon. Then move the next target disk (the seals in order) to match the seal of the Moon with the positions of the previous step. We now records like: Hard Green: 08.15 approximate date; disk Yellow: shade 5, White Disco: tone 5, white disk of the stamps: Luna.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE THRESHOLD GALACTIC .- Now, as in this case the date that we agree with a green disc, it is necessary to make any more moves, and then we have the date of August 15, 1990 is galactic threshold 5 Moon, or Red Overtone Moon.
Exercise 3. Determine the threshold Galactic October 4, 1935.
Step 1 CONVERSION OF THE YEAR .- Search for the galactic year 1935. Since the date of October 4 is between 26 July and 31 December, look in the back of the compass equal to the year 1935, which is "8 Magician", that is, the year of the White Galactic Wizard ".

Step 3 DATE LOCATION .- In the opposite direction of the clockwise disk seek any green date (month, day) that is close (or coincide) with which we seek. As the date is October 4 (ie, 10.04), the date 09/24 green disk is the closest.
Step 4 .- TONE EQUALIZATION observed at the yellow tone that is below the 09.24 date, this is the tone 3 (three points), and then move the white disk to match the tone 3 in the two disks. We and the discs: Disc green: approximate date 09.24, Disco Green: Tone 3; White Disco: Tone 3.
Step 5 YEAR SEAL LOCATION .- From step 1, we know that the year 1935 is Magician. Then move the next target disk (the seals in order) to match the seal of the Magician with the positions of the previous step. We now records like: Hard Green: 09.24 approximate date; disk Yellow: tone 3, Disk target: tone 3; white disk of the stamps: Magician.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE THRESHOLD GALACTIC .- Now, from the Wizard label in the previous step, we move in the opposite direction from clockwise to find the date sought. In the starting position, we have (from the previous steps) on 24 September (9.24) is 3 Wizard (ie, White Electric Wizard). As we seek the October 4, then we move eleven places in counterclockwise (24-25-26-27-28-29-30-01-02-03 and 04) to get to 13 seeds (in the white disc is the 13 as two lines and three points, and below the seal of the seed). Step 4 .- TONE EQUALIZATION observed at the yellow tone that is below the 01.02 date, this is the tone 6 (a line and a point), and then move the white disk to match the tone 6 in the two discs. We and the discs: Disc green: approximate date 01.02, Disco Green: tone 6, White Disco: tone 6.
Step 5 YEAR SEAL LOCATION .- From step 1, we know that the year 1968 (the reference is not the 1969 original) is Storm. Then move the next target disk (the seals in order) to match the stamp of Storm with the positions of the previous step. We now records like: Hard Green: 01.02 approximate date; disk Yellow: tone 6, White Disco: tone 6; white disk of the stamps: Storm.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE THRESHOLD GALACTIC .- Now, from the seal of the Storm in the previous step, we move in the opposite direction from clockwise to find the date sought. In the starting position, we have (from the previous steps) the second day of January (01.02) is 6 Storm (ie, Blue Rhythmic Storm). As we are looking for the January 18, then we move 17 places in counterclockwise (02-03-04-05-06-07-08-09-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17 and 18), and have the seal Eagle. Note that in this movement some of the tones of the white disk were empty. As this white disc represents the 13 tones of a wavespell, it is logical that after the beep tone 13 is 1 (Magnetic), starting a new wave delighted. This is the hallmark of the Hand, so if there is now the tone 1, the Eagle will tone 9. In conclusion, the threshold galactic January 18, 1969 is 9 Eagle, or Eagle Solar Blue.

As the date is February 17 after December 31, we look in the back of the compass the year equivalent to the previous year to 1953, or 1952, which is "12 Storm", that is, the year Blue Crystal Storm. (Note: recall that the Mayan galactic year Gregorian includes two half years, from July 26 a year, and until July 24 next year, being the reference year of the first half).
Step 2 .- Put the universal synchronization Shade 12 (step 1) below the yellow disc universal synchronization date of July 26, marked as green disk 7.26.
Step 3 DATE LOCATION .- In the opposite direction of the clockwise disk seek any green date (month, day) that is close (or coincide) with which we seek. As the date is February 17 (ie, 2.17), the date 02.11 green disk is the closest.
Step 4 .- TONE EQUALIZATION Note that in this case, there are empty spaces (no tone) at the yellow between the dates of onset (26.7) and the approximate date 11/02 (even this is an empty space, no tone, the yellow disk). What we do is move the yellow ball, setting the tone 1 (one point) below the first gap we have to move from 07.26 to counterclockwise. The date is above the pitch and 1 is 10.14, which is our new beginning. Now we seek the approximate date, 02.11, and we see the tone underneath has 4 (four points). Match the tones of yellow and white discs, ie move the white disk to match the tone 4 in the two discs. We thus drives: Hard Green: 02.11 approximate date; Hard Green: tone 4, Disk target: tone 4.
Step 5 YEAR SEAL LOCATION. - From step 1, we know that the year 1953 is Storm (ie for 1952). Then move the next target disk (the seals in order) to match the stamp of Storm with the positions of the previous step. We now records like: Hard Green: 02.11 approximate date; disk Yellow: tone 4, Disk target: tone 4; white disk of the stamps: Storm.
Step 6 OBTAINING THE THRESHOLD GALACTIC .- Now, from the seal of the Storm in the previous step, we move in the opposite direction from clockwise to find the date sought. In the starting position, we have (from the previous steps) on 11 February (02.11) is 4 storm (ie, Self-existing Storm Blue). As we are looking for the February 17, then we move 7 places in counterclockwise (11-12-13-14-15-16 and 17), to reach 10 Snake (white disk is 10 as two streaks, and below the seal of the Snake).
