Maya legacy

Hello everybody! I am Joseph of Mexico. I live in northern Mexico, in a town called Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Let me tell you something that I lived when I visited the magic of the Yucatan Peninsula, (that's where the pyramid is located Chichenitza), is located between Merida and Cancun.

The journey started the day on September 9, 2008, I went with my wife and my son Angelito Angelica of 3 years. I always fascinated me everything related to the Mayan culture, architecture, astronomy, etc.. Eh read numerous websites about this, books and items related to Maya. Before talking more about the Maya let me tell you that in college I had a teacher of environmental sciences field, his name was Gulliermo Robledo (RIP), He was a philosopher and taught us many topics on this, something I never will forget your sentence:

I believe that this was the very reason ... I said that was very curious what would happen in 2012, but the fate and the cosmos was taken ahead of time ... (died) Master humanistic, realistic, and a vegetarian friend ...

Turning to the pyramid Chichenitza, my dream was to one day a stand against such an icon Maya ... then talking with my wife decided to make the effort to get to know. When the day arrived, my body was pure adrenaline, I mean a lot to my wife and my son was with me when we started walking towards the pyramid, there are many shrubs impedian I see it in its entirety, but so close that we were going Moreover, it could see more of the pyramid, and could feel a kind of energy only. The point of climax was when I could be in front of her, I had a great impression to be where our ancestors were, is a pure energy, full of peace that you be (that's what I feel) a part of you feel if returned in time about 1,000 years or more, this place is full of pure magic, if you put you near the pyramids and applauds you can hear the sound of the serpent ... (some may Czech video page on youtube) The accuracy with which the pyramid is made quite an impression, if you put on the court where they played ball, you can hear the murmurs, what people are talking from the other end of the field (scientists have done studies on this but acustica have been unable to decipher the Maya as they did) you can see the observatory, the sacred cenote, smaller pyramids, as well as places where the Maya were allegedly markets (shops).

This is a fantastic place to which I would return a lot of times. This is roughly what I lived, but if someone is more interested in knowing more about it, it could send more information and photos that I took to see them.

Note: When you come to Mexico I recommend you visit the pensinsula of Yucatan, is full of Mayan pyramids and walking tour magic ...
